Insurance coverage can vary depending on your specific plan, employer, and behavioral health benefits. Headway can verify your benefits and provide an estimate of your cost before your first session.
Individual Therapy
I provide online individual therapy for adults throughout California, with a focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, medical anxiety, and life stress.
All sessions are virtual, so you can attend therapy from the comfort and privacy of your home
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is private pay only and is not billed through insurance.
I work with couples who want to improve communication, strengthen their connection, navigate conflict, and better understand the patterns affecting their relationship. My approach to couples therapy incorporates the Gottman Method.

Why pay out-of-pocket for Therapy?
Many people find benefits to paying out-of-pocket rather than using their insurance. Here are a few:
1. Privacy and Confidentiality: When you pay for therapy without involving insurance, your treatment remains entirely private. This can be particularly important for individuals who are concerned about their mental health information being shared with insurance providers or employers. It allows for a more discreet and confidential therapeutic experience.
2. Choice and Control: Self-pay gives you greater control over your therapeutic choices. You can choose your therapist based on your preferences and needs, rather than being limited to providers within your insurance network. This flexibility allows you to find a therapist who specializes in the specific area of mental health you're concerned about.
3. Streamlined Process: Self-pay can simplify the therapeutic process. You don't need to deal with insurance paperwork, pre-authorization, or waiting for insurance approval. This can expedite the start of your therapy and allow you to focus on the treatment itself, rather than administrative hurdles.
